My name is Jelske Dijkstra. I work as a linguist at the Fryske Akademy (Frisian Academy) and the Mercator European Research Centre on Multilingualism and Language Learning, which is part of the Fryske Akademy. My research focuses on (multilingual) language development, language variation and speech recognition. Additionally, I am regularly involved in language-related projects outside academics.
My research interests are multilingualism, speech and language development, child language, language variation, phonetics and speech technological applications. As a teacher I taught on topics such as in language development, multilingualism, LARSP, research skills and I supervised theses.
